Madhya Pradesh Secures ₹30.77 Lakh Crore MoUs at GIS 2025, Aiming to Become India`s Investment Powerhouse

Madhya Pradesh has taken a monumental leap in its journey to becoming a global investment powerhouse, securing MoUs worth a staggering ₹30.77 Lakh Crore at the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025. The summit, which took place in Bhopal and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 24th February, showcased the state’s growing appeal as a key investment destination.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the summit attracted over 25,000 registrations, with more than 100 foreign delegates from over 60 countries. This overwhelming participation highlighted the international interest in Madhya Pradesh’s economic growth and potential. The presence of partner countries such as Canada, Germany, Japan, Turkey, and the United Kingdom further emphasized Madhya Pradesh’s rising recognition on the global stage.

Industry stalwarts like Shri Gautam Adani of Adani Group, Shri Pawan Goenka of Garaj Industries, and Shri Baba Kalyani of Bharat Forge were among the top industrialists who attended the summit, underscoring the state`s industrial potential. Their participation was a clear indication of Madhya Pradesh’s growing prominence in attracting investments across multiple sectors.

A crucial player in facilitating these developments has been the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (MPIDC). The MPIDC has been instrumental in shaping the state`s infrastructure and creating a conducive environment for investment opportunities. Their continuous efforts in improving infrastructure have positioned Madhya Pradesh as a prime location for business expansion and innovation.

The summit also featured more than 70 one-on-one meetings with representatives from top companies, including Godrej Group, Aditya Birla Group, and Tata Group. These interactions were aimed at refining policies and furthering strategic collaborations to accelerate business growth.

A major highlight of GIS 2025 was the introduction of an AI-driven business matchmaking tool. This innovation enabled efficient B2G (Business-to-Government) and B2B (Business-to-Business) meetings, facilitating seamless connections between the right partners. More than 600 B2G and 5,000 B2B meetings took place, promising to foster sustainable business collaborations and investments in the state.

The summit also hosted 10 sector-specific sessions covering vital areas such as renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. These discussions highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to diversifying its industrial base and embracing emerging sectors for future growth.

Moreover, the NRI Madhya Pradesh Summit featured more than 500 NRIs who re-engaged with their home state, sharing investment proposals and showcasing their continued support for the state’s development. Their contributions highlighted the importance of the NRI community in driving Madhya Pradesh’s economic progress.

Madhya Pradesh’s success at GIS 2025 has cemented its status as a leading investment and industrial destination. With record-breaking MoUs, strategic collaborations, and a focus on sustainable growth, the state is poised to be a key player on the global economic stage.
