“2025 is all about scaling what we’ve built and focusing on areas where blockchain can make a real difference-from education to enterprise-grade solutions,” shares Mrityunjaya Prajapati, CEO, Kalp Studio.

Kalp Studio, a platform known for simplifying blockchain development, is stepping into 2025 with a clear and grounded focus. With the launch of the BUILD Bharat Tour Phase 1, advancements in CBDCs, and tools that empower developers, the company is quietly but steadily expanding its role in blockchain adoption.

We spoke with Mrityunjaya Prajapati, CEO of Kalp Studio, to understand the vision for 2025, the challenges ahead, and how the platform is balancing innovation with practicality.

1. BUILD Bharat Tour Phase 1 kicked off in January 2025. What can we expect from it this year?

The first hackathon of BUILD Bharat Phase 1 was successfully held on January 3rd and 4th, 2025, in Vadodara (Parul Hack Verse). It was an incredible start, with hundreds of students and developers showcasing their skills and ideas. Seeing the energy and innovation at the event has set the tone for what’s ahead.

We also held events in Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Dehradun in January. Our goal is to share blockchain knowledge not just with engineering colleges, but also with startups and professionals to contribute to building a new India.

This year, we aim to reach 21 states and upskill 100,000 students and engineers, continuing our focus on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications of blockchain technology.

Upcoming BUILD Bharat Tour Events

  • March 10, 2025 – Amity University, Ranchi
  • March 11, 2025 – IIIT Ranchi
  • March 11, 2025 – Sarala Birla University, Ranchi
  • March 12, 2025 – BIT Mesra, Ranchi

Each of these events will provide hands-on learning experiences in blockchain development, helping students and developers build real-world blockchain solutions.

2. Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) seem to be a major focus for Kalp Studio in 2025. Why is this important?

CBDCs are not just a technical shift; they represent a fundamental change in how economies function. We’re working with governments and financial institutions to build ecosystems that prioritize compliance, security, and scalability.

One thing we’re focusing on is user control-giving individuals and institutions better visibility and management of their digital currency. At the same time, we’re ensuring interoperability so that these systems can integrate with existing financial infrastructure.

It’s a space that’s evolving rapidly, and there are challenges, especially around regulations. But it’s exciting to be part of something that has such a tangible impact on people’s lives.

3. Kalp Studio offers a range of enterprise solutions. What are the key areas of focus this year?

Enterprise solutions are where blockchain goes beyond theory and becomes real. This year, we’re honing in on areas like:

  • RWA Tokenization – Helping businesses convert physical assets into digital ones to unlock new forms of liquidity.
  • Metaverse Integration – Supporting enterprises as they explore virtual spaces and connect with new audiences.
  • IPFS Storage – Making data storage more resilient and censorship-resistant.

We’ve also made our tools more accessible. For example, our smart contract templates and low-code development platform mean you don’t have to be a blockchain expert to start using the technology.

For us, it’s about listening to what businesses need and meeting them where they are. Blockchain doesn’t have to be overwhelming-it can be practical and effective when done right.

4. Developers are central to your platform. What’s Kalp Studio doing to support them in 2025?

Developers are the driving force behind everything we do. This year, we’re doubling down on tools and resources to make their lives easier:

  • Low-code tools – These help developers prototype faster without getting stuck in the complexities of blockchain.
  • Hybrid Cloud Deployment – A flexible setup that allows developers to manage nodes and infrastructure their way.
  • Support Programs – Whether it’s priority support with a 1-hour response time or detailed documentation, we’re here to help.

Beyond that, our Ambassador Program is something I’m really excited about. It’s a way for us to empower blockchain enthusiasts to lead their communities, with access to training, sponsorships, and mentorship.

5. Looking ahead, what trends do you think will define 2025 for blockchain?

2025 is shaping up to be a year where blockchain becomes more practical. Here’s what I see happening:

  • AI and Blockchain – AI-powered analytics will make blockchain data more actionable, helping businesses make better decisions.
  • Accessibility – Multi-language support, real-time translations, and tools like low-code platforms will make blockchain easier to adopt for diverse users.
  • Decentralized Finance (DeFi) – DeFi tools are maturing, and I think we’ll see more use cases that focus on financial inclusion.
  • Hybrid Cloud Models – These will give enterprises more control without adding complexity.

It’s not about chasing trends for the sake of it. For us, it’s about finding what works and delivering real value-whether that’s through BUILD Bharat or tools for developers and enterprises.

Your personal and professional resolutions for 2025?

Professionally, I want to keep things grounded. Blockchain is an exciting space, but it’s also easy to get carried away. My focus is on staying practical and solving real problems.

Personally, I want to spend more time engaging with our community. Some of the best ideas come from unexpected conversations, and I don’t want to miss out on that.

Kalp Studio enters 2025 with a balanced approach-focused on innovation but grounded in real-world applications. From empowering developers through BUILD Bharat to advancing CBDCs and enterprise solutions, the goal is clear: to make blockchain accessible, practical, and impactful.

As Mrityunjaya puts it, “It’s not just about the technology-it’s about what people can do with it.”
