Kochi, Kerala – January 2026: Faboolux Interiors, one of the fastest growing home interior design and execution companies in South India, has announced the expansion of its operations through a structured franchise model, supported by technology-driven interior planning systems, during an industry gathering held in Kochi.
The announcement coincided with the Chairman’s Dinner, organised by the Varna Group of Companies as part of its 35-year milestone celebrations. The event took place on December 30, 2025, at Nattika Hall, Grand Hyatt Kochi, and brought together business leaders and industry stakeholders. The event featured Tonino Lamborghini as the Guest of Honour and included participation from multiple brands associated with the interiors and building materials sector, including Faboolux Interiors.
Faboolux provides end-to-end residential interior solutions, including modular kitchens, bedrooms, living spaces, and complete home interiors. According to the company, the franchise expansion forms part of its long-term strategy to scale operations while maintaining consistency in execution standards and delivery processes across locations.
The company has identified a recurring challenge within the interior industry related to the gap between design concepts and on-site execution. Through collaboration with homeowners, architects, and builders, Faboolux observed issues such as measurement inaccuracies, coordination delays, and limited execution clarity. These observations have influenced the company’s operational structure and adoption of technology-led planning tools.
As part of this approach, Faboolux developed FabSketch, an in-house, AI-powered interior planning software. The software supports room-level detailing, enabling visualisation and specification of layouts, storage planning, plumbing and electrical points, and integrated components such as kitchen fixtures and wardrobes. The company stated that the tool is intended to reduce ambiguity and minimise rework during execution.
Faboolux also confirmed the onboarding of their first franchise partner, Unnikrishnan U, marking a key step in the company’s expansion plans. The franchise model is designed to support growth through partnerships with entrepreneurs aligned with the company’s execution-focused processes.
Commenting on the company’s long-term vision, Usman Abdul Rahman, Chairman stated that Faboolux is planning significant investments in the coming years, with a strong focus on export-oriented growth, citing the group’s access to end-to-end resources, in-house capabilities, and consistent quality standards across its product ecosystem.
Further outlining the expansion roadmap, Faizal Abdul Rahman, Executive Director, said the company is planning an aggressive market expansion across South India, strengthening its presence through franchising while ensuring operational discipline and standardised execution frameworks.
Earlier, commenting on the development, Maqbool Rahman, Managing Director said,
“Interior projects often face challenges during execution due to a lack of clarity between design and site implementation. Our focus has been on building systems and adopting tools that address these issues. As we expand through franchising, we intend to maintain process consistency and execution standards.”
Faboolux stated that they will continue to evaluate franchise opportunities across South India. Franchise partners will receive access to operational systems, design processes, and technology-enabled planning tools as part of the expansion framework.
The company added that their long-term objective is to build a scalable residential interior services network that supports predictable execution outcomes while simplifying the interior design process for homeowners.
