Darbhanga Karate Athletes Shine at 4th KIO National Karate Championship, Bring Glory to Bihar

Darbhanga, Bihar | June 17, 2025: Two athletes from Darbhanga delivered outstanding performances at the 4th KIO National Karate Championship 2025, bringing pride to state Bihar. The championship was held from June 12 to 15, 2025, in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and featured selected participants from across the country.

Preyansh won a silver medal in the junior -76 kg weight category, while Yuvraj Adarsh secured a bronze medal in the -61 kg category. In recognition of this achievement, Abhay Kumar, President of the State Karate Association of Bihar, along with Pankaj Kambli, General Secretary, and Suraj Kumar, Treasurer, congratulated the athletes.

Dr. Nirbhayshankar Bhardwaj, Chief Advisor of the Karate Association of Darbhanga, and Rajeev Ranjan, President, expressed immense pride in the athletes’ success.

They credited this moment of honor to the expert guidance of Mukesh Mishra, Chief Karate Coach of Darbhanga and Senior Coach for the Bihar Karate Team. Under his expert guidance, the athletes not only honed their skills but also developed the mental toughness required for such high-level competitions.
