Iqbal Hussain won Silver at World Ball Badminton Championship which was held in Rabat, Morroco from 21 July to 23 July 2025 Iqbal of India create history by becoming first Indian Ball Badminton Athlete to win Medal for India at World Ball Badminton Championship 2025. Before this He also won Gold for India at 11th South Asian Games which was held at Katmandu Nepal from 10 June to 12 June and countries Participated at the Game like Maldives, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Afganistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal among all these countries he secured Gold medal for India at Mens Singles event in South Asian games 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal and created a history for India . Before coming here he was also Achieved Gold at Doubles event in North East Senior Zonal Games 2025 were Iqbal Hussain and Pooja Singh as a team in doubles event at North East Senior Zonal Games 2025 against Manipur and brought Gold for Assam. He also secured Gold for Assam in Doubles event were Iqbal Hussain and Pooja Singh once again secured Gold for Assam in finals against Andhra Pradesh at All India senior National Ball Badminton championship 2025 which was held at May 17 to 18 2025 at Goa .
He got selected for India National Team Trials were he was selected in Ball Badminton Indian National team for South Asian Games 2025 as Team India. Great news for India that Iqbal Hussain became the brand Ambassador of upcoming Asian School games 2025-26 session it is proud moment for us that Iqbal Hussain is from India and he was invited by World School Sports Federation at Paris, France for Opening ceremony of World School Swimming Championship in 26 July 2025 so Iqbal Hussain the International Indian Ball Badminton Athlete was present at the opening ceremony of World school Swimming championship at Paris,France in 26 July 2025 and he was warm welcomed by World School Sports Federation and International Olympic committee President Kirsty Conventry his presence in the world School games makes young athletes across the world get motivated by his speech on world school swimming championship on 26 July 2025.
