When I stepped onto the court, the energy of the crowd electrified the air. The South Asian Games, held in
Kathmandu, Nepal, was a moment I would cherish forever. Representing India in Ball Badminton, I was determined to make my country proud.

The days leading up to the tournament were a blur of intense training and focus. But as the games began, my nerves settled, and my passion for the sport took over. Every shot, every point, every match was a testament to my hard work and dedication.

The final match was against a tough opponent from Sri Lanka. The crowd was evenly divided, with chants of “India! India!” and “Sri Lanka! Sri Lanka!” filling the stadium. I drew strength from my teammates’ cheers and the support of my family, who had traveled all the way from India to watch me play.

The game was intense, with both of us giving our all. But in the end, my skills and strategy paid off. I emerged victorious, winning the gold medal in Men’s Singles!

As I stood on the podium, listening to the Indian national anthem and receiving my medal, tears of joy streamed down my face. All the sacrifices, the early morning training sessions, and the endless hours of practice had paid off. I had made my country proud, and that feeling was indescribable.

The memories of those few days in Kathmandu will stay with me forever – the thrill of competition, the camaraderie with fellow athletes, and the pride of representing India on the international stage. The South Asian Games was more than just a tournament; it was a celebration of sports, culture, and unity.

I returned home with a medal around my neck and a heart full of memories. But more and importantly, I knew that this was just the beginning of my journey, and I was ready to take on the world!
