Actress Tania honoured with Most Versatile Actress Award at ‘The Iconic Punjabi Awards 2025’ in Dubai

Punjabi actress Tania was honoured with the Most Versatile Actress Award at the Iconic Panjabi Awards 2025, held at Dusit Thani Hotel, Dubai. The grand event, which celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, was organised by DIB Events under the leadership of Sardar Manjinder Singh. The event’s marketing was handled by Lead Magnet, a company owned by Dr Joginder Singh Bedi, also known as the Digital Doctor of India, with Rahul Verma managing the campaign. GB Realty partnered as the trusted sponsor.

Tania is one of the most celebrated Punjabi actresses, known for leaving a lasting impact on audiences with her memorable performances in films like Sufna, Lekh and Bajre da sitta. Honoured and celebrated for her remarkable contributions to Punjabi cinema, she has been awarded the `Most Versatile Actress` at The Iconic Panjabi Awards 2025 in recognition of her passion, dedication and hard work.

A special attraction at the event was the unique trophy, crafted using water from Punjab’s five historic rivers – Satluj, Ravi, Beas, Jhelum, and Chenab – symbolising the strong cultural roots and pride of the Punjabi community.

The event was attended by several prominent personalities from the UAE, including yaqoob Al Ali, Ali Azman, Dr Bu Abdullah, H.E. Dr Mohammad S. Al Kindi, and Laila Al Raheel.

From Punjab, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, noted Punjabi folk singer Pammi Bai, and Deepak Bali were among the key guests. Padma Shri awardee and wrestling legend Kartar Singh Pehalwan was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his exceptional contributions to sports. Former Punjab DGP Sardar Mehal Singh Bhullar also attended the event.

The awards ceremony was a vibrant celebration of Punjabi culture on an international stage. One of the most memorable moments was when Dr Munir Ahmad and his security team wore traditional Punjabi turbans, adding a special touch of cultural pride.

A number of well-known personalities were present at the event, including Sardar Talwinder Singh, social worker Gurpreet Singh Mintu, lyricist Bunty Bains, singer Bir Singh and several others such as Navjot Singh Sandhu, Inderjit Singh Munde, Iqbal Cheema, Sudhir Puri, Adeeb Rahman, Rittu Shree, Vipin Suree, Jagdeep Singh Arora, Balbir Singh Randhawa, Dr Harmeek, Jasdeep Singh, Daljit Singh, Daulat Ram, Dr Varinder Bhullar, Gourav Sharma, Shreya Shri, Amarpreet Singh, Aman Kooner, Randeep Singh, Patiala House owner Rimpy Raneja, and Gurnitika Kaur Sandhu.

The Iconic Punjabi Awards 2025 celebrated the achievements of Punjabis from across the world, honouring those who have excelled in various fields and brought global recognition to Punjab and its rich culture.
