5000 Enthralled by Kanhaiya Mittal's Vibrant Voice

Pune: In today’s fast-paced world, finding time even for meeting each other is a challenge, let alone visiting temples or participating in religious ceremonies. This is particularly true for the younger generation. However, the Brotherhood Foundation has proven this notion wrong. They have not only immersed people in the river of faith but also facilitated the darshan of Lord Khatu Shyam right in Pune.

The event was “ek sham Saawariya ke naam”, held at the Vardhman Cultural Lawn in Gangadham. It featured renowned bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal and the rising talent Gaurav Parik, who enchanted the audience with their powerful voices. Around 5,000 devotees gathered to experience the devotion unfold through music. Kanhaiya Mittal led the crowd into a fervent display of devotion with one popular hymn after another dedicated to Lord Khatu Shyam, with attendees not only humming along but also dancing with abandon. The entire venue seemed to be drenched in the hues of devotion.

People were immersed in devotion in the program

The stage was beautifully adorned with an exquisite idol of Lord Khatu Shyam. Its captivating decoration was a sight to behold, and the deity was also offered ‘Chhappan Bhog’. Devotees thronged to seek blessings, with nearly 5,000 people, predominantly from the Agarwal community, attending the religious ceremony.

The crowd was diverse, encompassing children, elders, women, and the youth; no one stayed behind. Kanhaiya Mittal created such an enchanting atmosphere that everyone was deeply immersed in the devotion, losing themselves in the spiritual fervor. Everyone seemed to be moving rhythmically, completely absorbed in the worship of Lord Khatu Shyam.


Renowned Bhajan King of Chandigarh, Kanhaiya Mittal and Gaurav Parik, captivated the audience with their exceptional renditions of bhajans such as “Hare-Hare-Hare, Hare Ke Sahare…”, “Dena Ho To Dijiye Janam Janam Ka Saath…”, “Maa Mujhe Teri Zaroorat Hai..”, “Meri Jholi Bhar De Baba..”, “Khatu Wale Shyam Re Hum Hain Tere Babare”, “Bachpan Se Aaun Khatu Bhool Nahi Jana Re…”, “Mere Shyam Ka Mukhda, Lage Chand Ka Tukda”, “Mujh Par Kripa Kare Shyam Baba..”, “Har Ghar Mein Ek Hi Naam Goonjega Jai Shree Ram Jai Shree Ram…”, “Ramji Ki Nikli Sawari…”, “Sanwariya Lo Sambhal Kahin Na Kho Jaaun, Kuch Aisa Kar Kamal Ki Tera Ho Jaaun..”, captivating everyone present. Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed the feast of Mahaprasad.

The event was organized by the Brotherhood Foundation. The organizing committee was led by Chairman Pawan Jain, Secretary Ravi Kiran Agarwal, Joint Secretary Narendra Goyal, Treasurer Sanjay Agarwal, Founding Chairman Jayaprakash Goyal, and Core Committee Members Ishwarchand Goyal, Coordinator Vikas Gupta, Pawan Bansal, Sanjay Agarwal (Prince), Yogesh Agarwal, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, Deepak Bansal, Balbir Agarwal, Narendra Mittal, Rajkumar Jindal, Pawan Chamadia, and Sanjay L. Agarwal. Additionally, the youth of the Agarwal community made commendable efforts to ensure the success of the event.
