Pune: With the aim of providing safe, value-oriented, and modern accommodation facilities for Jain students coming to Pune for education, Amruta Sunil Gandhi and Smruti Shrutesh Gandhi have initiated a meaningful social project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of this initiative, a state-of-the-art Jain Boys Hostel with a capacity of approximately 70 students was launched last year in the Kothrud area. The hostel has received an encouraging response from both students and parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Admissions for the upcoming academic year have now commenced. Jain students from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and across India are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The founders have focused on creating a home-like environment, a disciplined lifestyle, quality food arrangements, and modern study facilities for students. The hostel offers amenities including air-conditioned rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, a gym, and indoor games, along with a positive atmosphere enriched with Jain values and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Special attention has been given to students\u2019 overall development by creating a peaceful, secure, and inspiring campus environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, accommodation facilities have also been developed in different areas of Pune for students. A Jain Girls PG has been started on Bhandarkar Road, offering a safe and comfortable environment for female students. Similarly, a Jain Boys PG facility has been established at Narayan Peth, which is proving beneficial for students pursuing higher education and preparing for competitive examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looking ahead to future requirements, work is currently in progress on another ultra-modern Jain hostel project in Pune, according to the founders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the inauguration of a grand Jain temple in Kothrud is proposed for this year. The temple is expected to provide students with a spiritual environment for prayer, meditation, and connection with Jain values, encouraging not only academic excellence but also cultural and spiritual growth.
