Manoj Kumar Tripathi, District Governor of Rotary International District 3262. The event was graced by DG Elect Rtn. Anil Kumar Samal (IAS Rtd.) as the Guest of Honour, along with distinguished dignitaries, including PP Rtn. B. K. Sharma (Project Chair), Rtn. Sanjay Choudhary (President RCB), Rtn. Biswajit Patra (Secretary RCB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Step from Awareness to Action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOAHM\u2014an initiative of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar <strong>(RID 3262)<\/strong> in collaboration with the Better Matter Foundation <strong>(BMF)<\/strong> and \u2014is designed to create an integrated ecosystem for <strong>screening, support, and skilling<\/strong> of individuals on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch of this vocational program marks a crucial transition from awareness initiatives to <strong>structured pathways for independence and livelihood<\/strong>. Families often face challenges in accessing structured programs that support long-term independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SOAHM addresses this gap through a <strong>scalable and replicable model<\/strong> that combines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Skill development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Behavioral support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Market-linked opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative aligns with national priorities on inclusive education and skill development, while reinforcing Rotary\u2019s commitment to community service and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Collective Vision for Inclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program is supported by a collaborative network of Rotary leaders, therapists, educators, and community stakeholders, all working towards a shared vision of inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives from the highlighted the deeper purpose of the initiative:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThis is not just a program\u2014it is a movement. We are building confidence, creating opportunities, and restoring dignity.
