Hyderabad \/ Delhi, 27 November 2025:<\/strong> Amid national outrage following reports that accused Delhi bomber Dr. Umar Mohammad Umar-un-Nabi had been producing radical videos and conducting online sessions justifying suicide attacks, prominent legal expert and Islamic Speaker Adv. Nizam A. Khan issued a strong statement condemning all forms of suicide bombing, calling it \u201ca heinous act that violates the very foundations of Islamic law and morality.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to investigative agencies, Umar Nabi had been circulating ideological content promoting self-destructive attacks and attempting to portray them as acts of religious martyrdom. In response, Adv. Nizam A. Khan clarified that such justifications not only misrepresent Islam but directly oppose well-established teachings of the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSuicide Bombing is Not Martyrdom \u2013 It Is Suicide, and Islam Forbids It Completely\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his statement, Adv. Nizam A. Khan stressed: \u201cIslam clearly prohibits suicide. Blowing oneself up is an act of suicide, and Allah has said: \u2018And do not kill yourselves\u2019 (Qur\u2019an 4:29). No interpretation or ideology can override this clear command.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further referenced the authentic sayings of Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa: \u201cThe Prophet (peace be upon him) warned that whoever kills himself with any object will be punished with that same object in Hell forever. Suicide bombing is not a pathway to martyrdom\u2014it is a path to destruction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adv. Nizam A. Khan emphasized that classical Islamic stories often misused by extremists\u2014such as the incident of the boy of the Ukhdood, or al-Bara\u2019 ibn Maalik during battle\u2014are not comparable to modern suicide missions. In those cases, survival was possible and no one deliberately killed themselves. Suicide bombing, on the other hand, involves certain death, making it completely impermissible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKilling Innocents Is a Major Sin; Suicide Bombing Combines Two Grave Crimes\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adv. Nizam A. Khan reminded that Islamic jurisprudence places strict prohibitions on killing non-combatants: \u201cIslam protects every innocent life. Suicide bombing kills oneself and kills innocent people around\u2014this combines two major sins. There is no religious justification for such acts, no matter who commits them or in whose name they are done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He pointed out that such attacks often cause more harm to the Muslim community itself, provoking retaliation, creating instability, and inviting further violence\u2014all of which Islamic law aims to prevent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Citing Fatwas of Renowned Scholars<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening his argument, Adv. Nizam A. Khan cited the rulings of leading Islamic scholars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shaykh Abdul-Azeez Ibn Baaz<\/strong>: Declared suicide attacks \u201cnot acceptable\u201d and \u201cnot permissible,\u201d as they constitute killing oneself, which Allah has forbidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-\u2018Uthaymeen:<\/strong> Described suicide missions resulting in certain death as \u201charam\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cmajor sins\u201d<\/strong>, warning that such actions harm Islam, Muslims, and society at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDr. Umar\u2019s Justifications Are Misleading and Dangerous\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reacting to the extremist content allegedly produced by the accused Umar Nabi, Adv. Nizam A. Khan stated: \u201cAnyone who promotes suicide bombing is misleading the youth, betraying the teachings of Islam, and directly opposing the Qur\u2019an and Sunnah. No scholar of credibility supports such actions. These are ideological distortions that must be exposed and rejected.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He urged authorities to thoroughly investigate not only the crime but also the ideological networks behind such radicalization attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Call for Awareness and Responsible Religious Understanding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adv. Nizam A. Khan appealed to the Muslim community: \u201cYoung people must understand: Islam stands for life, justice, and peace\u2014not destruction. Suicide bombing is haram, unjust, and a grievous betrayal of Islamic principles. It must be condemned without hesitation, without apology, and without confusion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He encouraged community leaders, mosques, and scholars to increase awareness and prevent extremist misinterpretations from spreading among vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concluding his statement,<\/strong> Adv. Nizam A. Khan appealed to the Muslim community\u2014particularly the youth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further urged the younger generation to uphold both religious teachings<\/strong> and the law of the land<\/strong> with sincerity and discipline:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI request all our youth to strictly adhere to the true teachings of Islam, follow the law of the land, and always take guidance from authentic and qualified scholars. Do not get trapped by radical groups or misguided organizations that distort religion for violence and chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adv. Nizam A. Khan encouraged youth to channel their energy into education, personal growth, and nation-building:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStudy well. Become lawyers, doctors, scientists, engineers, teachers\u2014excel in every field and make your parents, your community, and your nation proud. This is the path Islam encourages, and this is how you contribute positively to society.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
