It includes a combination of <strong>open surgical procedures, minimally invasive techniques (endovascular), and medical management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vascular surgeons are unique in that they <strong>offer complete care<\/strong> \u2014 from <strong>diagnosis to treatment to long-term follow-up<\/strong>, using both <strong>invasive and non-invasive<\/strong> strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is a Vascular Surgeon?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong>vascular surgeon<\/strong> is a doctor who has undergone:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>MBBS + MS in General Surgery<\/strong> (or DNB)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Followed by a <strong>super-specialty training (MCh\/DNB in Vascular Surgery)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are trained to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Treat diseases of both <strong>arteries<\/strong> and <strong>veins<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform <strong>open surgery<\/strong>, <strong>endovascular procedures<\/strong> (like angioplasty and stenting), and <strong>hybrid procedures<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle <strong>life-threatening emergencies<\/strong> like limb ischemia, ruptured aneurysms, or carotid stenosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage <strong>chronic vascular conditions<\/strong> like varicose veins and diabetic foot ulcers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diseases Managed by Vascular Surgeons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3
