Her journey began with a simple yet powerful realization. “One day, while watching a winery tour on TV, I noticed something striking-there were no women in the field. That moment changed everything for me. I knew I wanted to step into this industry, challenge the status quo, and carve my own path,” Megha recalled.<\/p>\n
Coming from a technical background, she pursued a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Wine, Brewing, and Alcohol Technology. “This education gave me a strong foundation, but brewing isn’t just about science-it’s also about creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling,” she explained.<\/p>\n
Megha started her career at a winery before transitioning into breweries, where she gained hands-on experience in different aspects of alcohol production. Her time at Impala Breweries, working on Goa’s iconic Kings Beer, helped her refine her technical skills. “But my true passion was craft brewing-the freedom to experiment, innovate, and push the boundaries of flavor,” she said.<\/p>\n
